The objective of the Security and Energy Research Department are to conduct research and provide analysis, information and directions on issues related to security and energy, with the aims to track regional and global energy demands, supply, prices, and analyze the causes, and consequences of the inter-state, regional, and global conflicts and security problems. It also engages in national, regional, and international dialogues on security and energy issues and leads to new partnerships with local and foreign think tanks and research centers. 



Activity Areas


  • To organize international and national conferences, symposiums and workshops;
  • Make publications in the related topics (Books, scientific articles, reports, etc.);
  • Organizes national and international summer and winter schools;
  • At the international arena, the scientific study of the issues related to energy issues and their   analysis, interpretation and on the basis of these creation of new scientific information.
